Our asphalt paver conveyor chain production base is located in Bowang Town, Ma’anshan City, Anhui Province, covering an area of 5000 square meters. Based on more than ten years of experience in chain cold bending and heat treatment technology, we have equipped ourselves with fully automatic cutting equipment, high-precision progressive die punching machines, and fully automatic heat treatment mesh belt furnace production lines.

From the spectral analysis of the chemical composition of raw materials entering the factory, to the micrometer level precision control of chain plate punching, and to the compression force testing of the pin shaft and sleeve, we ensure that every meter of the conveyor chain leaving the factory can maintain stable tensile strength and excellent wear resistance under the harsh working conditions of high temperature, heavy load, and high impact of the asphalt paver through the “special machine dedicated” flexible production unit. The conveying chain of asphalt paver is the core component of the material conveying system, and its quality directly affects the continuity of paving and the uniformity of materials. The characteristics of a high-quality conveyor chain are usually reflected in the following aspects:

  1. High strength and wear-resistant materials
    High quality chains are usually made of alloy steel (such as 40Cr, 20CrMnTi, etc.) and undergo heat treatment processes such as carburizing and quenching to give the chain surface high hardness (usually up to HRC 58-62) and maintain good toughness in the core. This can effectively resist the wear and compression of sharp stones in asphalt mixtures, extending their service life.
  2. Precision machining and fitting accuracy
    The key components of the chain, such as the pin shaft, sleeve, and roller, are precision machined to ensure accurate pitch and moderate fit clearance. Cooperate with precision and high energy to reduce the impact load during operation, reduce the abnormal noise and crawling phenomenon between the chain and the driving and driven wheels of the paver, and ensure the smoothness and synchronization of the conveyor belt operation.
  3. Fatigue resistance and impact resistance
    In paving operations, the chain frequently experiences heavy load start-up, material impact, and intermittent vibration. High quality chains ensure that they are not prone to fracture or plastic deformation under complex working conditions through optimized structural design (such as increasing the diameter of the pin shaft, using a three row or multi row chain structure) and rigorous low-temperature impact testing.
  4. High temperature resistance and anti adhesion
    The temperature of the asphalt mixture transported is usually between 120 ℃ and 160 ℃. High quality chains will undergo surface anti sticking treatment (such as galvanizing, Dacromet coating, or PTFE coating) to reduce the adhesion of high-temperature asphalt binder on the chain and prevent chain jamming or tension failure caused by material accumulation。
  5. Reliable lubrication and sealing
    A good chain is usually equipped with sealing rings (such as O-rings or X-rings) pre filled with high-temperature lubricating grease, which can maintain internal lubrication for a long time and prevent asphalt dust and fine aggregates from entering the hinge area, significantly reducing the wear rate of the chain.
  6. Strict craftsmanship and quality control
    From raw materials entering the factory to finished products leaving the factory, multiple quality inspection processes such as metallographic analysis, tensile testing, and fatigue testing are required. Ensure that each chain can meet or exceed industry standards (such as JB/T 10539-2006 or relevant American/German standards) under ultimate load.
